Pet Cooling

Summertime means hot weather and trying to keep cool, not only for ourselves but for our pets as well. With their furry coats, dogs and cats probably find it a lot more difficult than we do to stay cool on a hot day! Especially my dog Roxie who for some reason likes to sit in the sunshine whenever she can even though she starts panting so hard I think she is going to pass out! Eventually she will make her way over to either the hardwood or kitchen floors, where she proceeds to flop over on her back, all four legs in the air, and try to cool off. It really is quite a site to see! But she is oh-so-cute when she does it! :)
